Feed Description: A personal blog about technology in general, .NET in specific, and when all else fails, the real world.
Do I want to listen to random bloggers talking about their cats? No.
Do I want to listen to an intelligent weekly radio program like Gillmor Gang? Definitely.
Would I subscribe if someone like Don Box was publishing audio of his talks? Hell yes!
I already Podcast manually with .NET Rocks. Thankfully, they announced that their RSS feeds now supports enclosures, so I can get the shows automatically.
Some things are uniquely valuable by virtue of being in audio. And being in audio means you can listen when you couldn't otherwise read: in the car, on the light rail, at the gym, and while working.
I wouldn't be quick to dismiss this as some fad. It feels to me like a new version of radio broadcasting, except that time shifting is built-in by default.
