One of my initial concerns was I thought Omea was missing support for
CommentRSS. However, after a little more digging I found it. When viewing an
individual blog post, there is a small button you can click which will go and
fetch the comments. This is a great bandwidth saver since it only makes requests
for comments you are interested in reading. (although I am sure other's like the
more automated approach).
One thing I am still not 100% clear on is the difference between Omea Reader
and Omea Plus. It looks like Plus adds some Outlook and IM integration. I
suspect the pro version will eventually cost a little more, but be packed with a
lot more features. For me, an aggregator and news group reading/posting tool in
one application, works out quite well. So far I have had a great user
experience. A pretty good search feature, aggregator, news group reader, with
some other interesting features like "Work Spaces" built in. Not bad for the price of registration. :)
