I've had several friends complain to me of a big slowdown after applying XP SP2 - especially in IE. As a matter of fact, I've explicitly refrained from applying SP2 (especially since all my machines are on a 10.x IP network behind a firewall - safe, for now) until this can be figured out. Well, apparently we're not the only ones who are reporting an XP SP2 slowdown.
