October is going to be a special and exciting month
for our user group.
Yuri Misnik (Developer
Evangelist, Microsoft) will be in Colombo for a very special session. In addition
to this Sriyan de Silva Wijeyeratne (General
Manager (Microsoft Country Manager, Sri Lanka) will be speaking on Microsoft's role
in Sri Lanka and how it benefits us the developers.
So keep the following date free:

NB: This is not the usual first Wednesday of the
month since we needed to accomodate Yuri's schedule.
So come on guys let's tell Yuri what we want him
to speak on at the next meeting. Some of the suggestions that I had for was:
- Visual Studio 2005 Team System
- TDD in .NET (Test Driven Development)
- Avalon
Feel free to chime in with your ideas as well,
we need to make really, really good use of this opportunity.
