I have been meaning to post about this for over a week now but trying to find some time and the right way to say it. First of all, the extremely useful OpenNETCF Smart Device Framework has released an even more mighty version 1.2 as Neil lists the features in his post. You need pretty much everything here if you are doing serious Compact Framework work.

Download the install package, binaries and source here.

Of most interest to me and many others, Casey has contributed his WSE implementation for the Compact Framework made it as a late entry into yesterday's OpenNETCF SDF 1.2 Release. the bits have been updated for WSE 2.0 Release to support WS-Addressing, WS-Attachments, WS-Security, and WS-SecureConversation. also have a corresponding article with client side code to get online. it can be used to call every WSE sample except Kerberos. My friend Christian remarks, “Yes, this guy is a freak! No doubt. Casey did a lot of work to support WSE2 features on the .NET Compact Framework. And now his work made it into the OpenNETCF tools. Cool.“

Casey also did some work for us during this time frame, none of which is part of or has been contributed to OpenNetCF, and has zero dependency on OpenNETCF. Casey contributed some great crypto, security, WS* knowledge and bits. If you are looking for expertise in this area, this extremely talented man rocks!
