Don Box reveals one of the most interesting and IMO most important feature detail of upcoming Indigo:

One aspect of the work that has been especially interesting for me is that we're effectively building a cross-context COM Interop system using the transparent proxy infrastructure. We're even looking at emulating classic COM proxy manager behaviors such as CoCopyProxy and CoSetSecurityBlanket all in 100% managed code so classic COM apps can work with Indigo without new APIs.

Wow. That sounds promising.
