Well, well. I did a little more to check everything for IE. It was bothering me okay!
I changed settings, edited registry, removed plugins one by one, etc
IE and the NTDLL.Dll fault offset 00000733 occured whenever Alexa toolbar was installed and uninstalling didn;t help.
I have had the toolbar installed for months, with no problem, however now, as soon as it is installed - bang goes IE.
read this - Uninstalling Alexa and download the inf (This worked for me once only).
The second time I reinstalled Alexa and tried again - it failed.
To remove it proplerly and get IE back to normal, I had to
- Delete the Internet Settings and Internet Explorer registry keys in my Profile {HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21...}
