I took a few days off 2 weeks agon, and again this week. Each time, on my return, I noticed that there was no blog spam upon my return. However, once I posted, I started seeing blog spam again. So, it's evident that the blog spammers are subscribed to our feeds and use that to determine what blogs are active.
