Office 2004 for the Mac has been RTMed and should be available on store shelves in 6 weeks.
My biggest complaint about Mac software (I own an iBook that I use for writing books & articles) is that they provide NO UPGRADE path. Like iLife, if you want the newest version of Office 2004 for the Mac, you'll have to pay full price. So I ask, why don't I get credit for owning the previous version of the software? I get credit for owning my Windows-based software (not all Microsoft, either) with some type of reduced upgrade cost for their newest releases. Why not Apple-based software?
