Sorry for one more gratuitous Summit non-technical post but I just got to tell you about this. Kirk set up an incredible XMLInsiders get-together and Sushi dinner in Kirkland last night. The brain-power in the room and then out in the pavilion was just the most I have ever seen in one gathering. I am not going to connect all the links because that would take all day. Imagine sitting next to Don Box and mutally harrasing each other over Don's presentation yesterday (with Chris Anderson) as well as Don busting me about my “Oracle” bug and then having Don describe the Indigo transaction flow and internals one-on-one. Imagine talking to Jeff Richter about the CLR and Rotor. Imagine having Chris Anderson explain XAML and its use so clearly that I finally got it. Imagine Ted Neward teasing me and harrasing me about....well anything...actually that doesn't take much imagination-) Then imagine, Joshua Allen, Dare Obasanjo, Tim Ewald, Brent Rector, Mark Fussell, DonXML, Daniel Calluzzo, Drew Marsh, Aaron Skonnard, Julie, Christain Schittko, Rick Strahl, and Joe Fawcett, among a dozen or so more I am forgetting, all at the same dinner. What a night!
