As I posted earlier, I installed the new MSN Toolbar that had its own pop-up blocker. Well, now that I've had time to evaluate it, I've decided to move back to the Google 2.0 Toolbar (which had one of the first free pop-up blockers). The main reasons are:

1. The MSN Toolbar pop-up blocker does not properly block JavaScript pop-ups that are invoked when you close the browser window.
2. The MSN Toolbar blocks my HTML Anchors when I specify "target=_blank" to ensure I get a fresh window (good for external hyperlinks in my blog). The Google 2.0 Toolbar pop-up blocker leaves these alone.
3. I use Google as my primary search engine, so I don't like having to customize all of the MSN settings and point to Google.

At least the MSN Toolbar uninstalled correctly and left no BHO (browser helper object) remnants in the file system or the registry.
