So while I was on vacation,  Whidbey became VS 2005 and got released as an  MSDN VS 2005 Community Tech Preview. I have been on the Whidbey Alpha program and running it daily for the better part of a year and am completly excited by this release. I have communicated what I could that was public in my Whidbey channel but I am excited now to be able to write publically about a lot more that you need to know about. You will want to start with the excellent MSDN Visual Studio 2005 Developer Center which has great resources. I am excited that I am listed as the only non-Microsoft blog there. I feel a lot has been written about ASP.NET 2.0 already, as it should be as this is the most exciting release of Web technology by Microsoft ever, but already covered by many others. I plan to write on the rest of Whidbey and let you know about a lot of new CLR, Framework, language and many other technologies that will rock your world.
