Tages Anzeiger today
writes about using the PC as the digital media hub in the living room. The heat
around the topic is picking up here in Switzerland - I saw many solutions showcased
at last October's Orbit technology
expo and there are going to be quite a few more hot products released to the
market this year.
I would love to see Windows
XP Media Center released in Switzerland - I have been using it's US version with
some reduced functionality here for over a year and would not want to miss it for
a single day now. By now it has completely replaced our FM radio receiver, DVD player,
CD library with all CDs digitized and moved to the basement and even our TV guide
magazine which we now only view online and it currently operates a video projector,
a 17 inch flat panel and our TV set simultaneously.
