As I noted here, Robert and I spent 12 hours on Friday debugging a production firewall issue with ES/COM+ even with all the documents that are out there. Robert details the solution on Sunday that we found. We looked at every paper out there and it's funny, they all point back to Michael Nelson's seminal DCOM and firewalls paper in 1998! Same as it ever was-) No wonder everyone like Don converged to one port (80) and Web Services-)
