So now we find out that Chris Webber was ineligible to play basketball in high school. Add in the fact that he was also ineligible in college, AND lied to the grand jury - and what punishment does he get? Nothing, absolutely nothing. What message does this tell school athletes? It tells them that they can break the rules, and as long as they're found out after they leave, nothing bad can happen to them.
