If you don't know what CodeSmith is, you're missing on a very good and productivity enhancing tool, which is freeware. It saves you lots of typing and allows creating templates for code generation (that look much like ASP.NET code). If you put your mind to this tool you can creating some pretty nifty stuff with it. Download and try it.
 
Personally, I've tried and liked it a lot. However, I never had much use for it for dev purposes. Mainly because I use CodeSmart.Net (which is not free) to take care of my automatic typing chores(and many other chores), but for a price of 0$  CodeSmith is highly recommended.
