I'm spec'ing a value workstation, and wanted to hear some thoughts:

CPU: P4-2.8G 800Mhz (HT)

MB: ASUS P4S800D Dual (2 SATA w/ RAID 0 and 1) + (2 normal HD)

GPU: ASUS 9570 FX5700 128MB, DVI, TV - 2 VGA outputs

HD: 2 x HITACHI 80GB SATA - will be used in sata raid 0 ( striping ) for even higher speed

MEM: DDR 400 512MB x 2 CL2 Kit GEIL - for a total of a gig

BURN: combo cd burner and dvd reader - cheap - for backups

No monitor.

all in all it should run me about $1400. Good performance, good price. Anyone got anything better ? I'm still looking =)
