It's been a while since one of these as I have been extremely busy. So what's new? More snow today turning into a fierce ice storm followed by heavy rain. Hurrah. On to the backlog.
Brad posts on the abandonment of a distinction between Deelgates and Multicast Delegates as it has nothing to do with multicasting. This hopefully will lead to less confusion over the long term.
Kent is talking about using Managed Direct/X and mentions a new book. Although I haven't done anything with Managed Direct/X yet, I have with unmanaged C/C++/Assembly Direct/X and I can't imagine that it would not be orders of magnitude more productive and easier using Managed Direct/X. Not having seen it the only stumbling block would be sheer speed that some Direct/X apps require but if that is taken care of, I'm totally down with it,
