So, I get back from 5 days in teh hospital only to find that I've been spammed - but good!

Sure, I've had drops of comment spam here and there, but this dude was all automated - posting gambling URLs in comments for each of my posts on teh blog. The only good thing was that all the comments were in sequence, so it wasn't that hard to write a simple MovableType script to delete comments from min to max. Plus, I blocked that IP from posting - just in case that person is using a single IP (probably not, but I can hope).

But, is that really how I wanted to recooperate in bed??? I guess it's time to move to MT 2.66 (mentioned earlier), which will help me ban by URLs, test, e-mail address, and also has a timeout interval that really hinders automated spam. But I can't wait for MT 3.0, which is supposed to have full comment registration support.
