An update from Ron Jacobs, Patterns & Practices, Product Manager …

As product manager for the platform architecture guidance team I hear a few messages consistently from our customers and partners.  One message we have heard loud and clear is that our customers need help in building high performance, high scale systems with .NET.  I'm happy to tell you that the team which brought you "Building Secure ASP.NET applications" and "Improving Web Application Security" has been hard at work on a new guide called "Improving .NET Application Performance and Scalability".  With over 900 pages of in-depth guidance on all major areas of .NET, this guide is sure to become essential reading for every serious .NET developer.

As we near the end of our time to work on this guide we need everyone to download the content, take a look and give us your feedback.  You can also download a slide deck suitable for presenting the guide at events and user groups.  Feel free to customize the slides to suit your presentation style.  You can access the content at our workspace http://workspaces.gotdotnet.com/perfscal.  Thanks for your support.
