Ted Neward on Benjamin Renaud (BEA) on web services.

In a recent discussion with iTNews Australia, BEA deputy CTO Benjamin Renaud claims that while Microsoft claims full compliance with web service standards, they are only "protocol-compliant" and not "API compliant". What the dear fellow doesn't realize is that the key to web services *is* protocol compliance, since API compliance is going to be very difficult to do across heterogeneous languages and platforms.
