The car of the future will speak up when it needs an oil change. It will warn drivers of an accident ahead, and advise of an alternative route on high-quality maps. This week at the the Consumer Electronics Show, we saw the Microsoft TBOX running the latest Windows Automotive software which uses Speech technology software to deliver hands-free phone, navigation; real-time traffic, online reports such as weather and stock prices delivered as MSN services, and vehicle diagnostics.
