7:00 PM: Courtesy of INETA, .NET consultant, speaker, author, & Web blogger Sam Gentile will make a presentation entitled "Choosing ADO.NET Data Access Options for ASP.NET Applications". Later in the evening, Sam will give us some info on Whidbey (next version of Visual Studio).

Topic: Although ADO.NET itself is well documented, there is not a lot of documentation on choosing the best data access option among the confusing array of choices ADO.NET provides. In particular, data access choices made for ASP.NET web scenarios as well as web services present a variety of challenges. In this session we will examine ADO.NET data access options in an ASP.NET scenario and determine how to make choices based on the type of data and the application.
