Julia brings up a good point over in the comments on Nino's blog, she points out that by leaving weblogs.asp.net we are leaving behind a pretty big readership. I am sure that quite a few people did not follow me over here, either because they did not notice that I had left, or because they were not interested enough in what I had to say to follow me over.

Julia decided to cross-post her more technical posts to her blog on weblogs.asp.net as a way to try and pull more readers over to her new blog, which is a pretty good idea. The only downside is that some people might not pick up her new blog because they figure that they can always read her posts in the main feed, this is why I decided to just make a clean break.

I know that I have alot less readers over here, but I think that over time my readership will grow... and I find comfort in the fact that the readers I have now took the time to subscribe to my feed, and are not just reading my posts because they are lumped into the main feed of weblogs.asp.net

Blogging technology lends itself to growth, between refferals and trackbacks, it is pretty easy to get the word out and gain readers. But enough about this stuff...
