Well, it's the new year and so THIS becomes the first official IlluminatiLand post of the year 2004.

I was talking to a developer the other day about my article on SQL CE Merge Replication and how to develop a disconnected CF.NET application that merges changes back to the repository. The question came up whether SQL CE used another port for Merge Replication. My initial thought was that the standard port (usually 1433) is probably used between the SQL CE virtual web server and the back-end Publication DB server.

If anyone knows anything different, I'd appreciate a note here so that I can make sure to get the right information out.

Happy New Year to all!!!
