After a few weeks of testing and settling in, I can finally announce that nGallery is moving off of GDN's Workspaces and onto SourceGear's Vaultpub solution. Eric Sink was kind enough to offer the space and deal with my many admin requests, and I must say - Vault is incredible. What a great step up from Workspaces.
Workspaces will be great in another year with some work, but for now it just became too much of a hinderance for me to manage an open source, distributed, community development project for many of the same reasons that Dare posted about.
Obviously, SCC shouldn't be the only item that GDN's Workspaces should be weighed on. It still provides many other resources for project developers, and continues to get better.
