Thurrott has written an overview of Microsoft's new Windows Rights Management Services.  The existence of this technology has been known for quite a while now, but I haven't heard of anyone other than Microsoft (Office System 2003) using or considering it.  Given its age and simple means of getting around it (screenshots), my guess is that most folks that need it will wait for v2 unless they're enticed by a Microsoft early adopter program.
