Brad Wilson (The .NET Guy) has decided to turn off comments in his blog as a permanent solution to blog spam. I posted about this earlier - and, unfortunately this is going to be the route we see a lot of bloggers take. Unfortunately for the blogging community, this also eliminates a big feature in blogs - the ability to post comments and trackback links to form a community on a topic-by-topic basis.

Once again, thanks to the friggin' marketers and spammers for screwing up something good for the rest of us!
