It's interesting to see some of the details of the Longhorn developers roadmap becoming clear. One announcement is a new graphics subsystem codenamed Sparkle, that will ship as part of Longhorn.
For VS.NET developers, there will be a VS.NET plug-in designed especially for the development environment to help easy "Sparkly" graphics programming and hopefully (for MS) take a large bite out of the current Macromedia Flash audience by providing a rich development environment for an enhanced graphics client that's already part of the OS.
A question for the paranoid. Isn't this similar to what Microsoft already got in trouble for by linking IE and Windows?
