Right before leaving the office for PDC, our IT group stops at my desk to deliver my new laptop. Eeek! One day to set the whole system up, move all the data from the old machine - fingers crossed I didn't forget anything - and return the latter to ITG.

The new Dell D600 makes a fast and solid impression so far, with an 1.7gHz Centrino and 1gB of RAM. The only drawback I have noticed: The display is not the best I have seen. Interpolation to resolutions lower than the default 1400*1050 generate quite a blurry image...

I wonder how Longhorn will run on this one.
