Original Post: Great Resources for learning Web Services Enhancements 2.0

Feed Description: A technology blog with a focus on the .NET framework, the Visual Studio .NET tools and the Windows server platform with of course the normal weblog-noise on what's happening in the industry and reviews of the latest geeky gadgets.
Of all the resources that I have collected on Web Services Enhancements 2.0, I find
that there are two pieces that stand out (this is very subjective of course).
First, there is the article that was co-produced by IBM and Microsoft on "Secure,
Reliable, Transacted Web Services: Architecture and Composition", explaining the following:
The role of composable services and service oriented architectures
Brief but very good explanation of all the current web service specifications and
functions
And a very detailed description of the joint IBM/Microsoft demonstration scenario
that shows how the WS specifications can be used together to create Web services that
solve real-world needs, initially presented on September 17, 2003 with good press
coverage.
Second, Develop Mentor has created two hands-on-labs
on Web Services Enhancements 2.0 for the TechEd 2003. These labs guide you through
the creation of sample applications that use WSE 2.0 Tech Preview and are especially
suitable for people that have not worked with WSE before. In my opinion, these
labs are more useful for understanding WSE than the code samples that are shipped
with the WSE 2.0 Tech Preview.
