Well, England put in a decent effort, beating Hungary. My wife was born in England but with Hungarian parents.
So we took a little wager. For probably the first time ever, I managed to not only guess the win, but the 3-1 score line.

Carragher needs to replace Neville on the right, he is in too good a defensive form to not be in the starting eleven.
and I would really like to see Gerrard in the holding position (where Caragher played in the first half) in front of the back four. He has good defensive play, but importantly can leash some good long accurate passes, from the back.
Also Lampard, like he does in Chelsea, could have the role behind the strikers, as he can surge through with nice one touch passes and can hold the midfield well.

Beckham, made some excellent crosses and passes. Hopefully he will keep that up for the World Cup.
Beckam and Cole need to cross over from time to time, it really causes some chaos, with Joe Cole running in from both sides. Enjoyable second-half. Only a week or so left to wait..
