Retention Server 1.5 - a new version - is about to be announce ... now provides support for:

Custom properties ... now administrators can create as many record properties as they wish (so things like invoice number and client number for example) - this is particularly useful for customers who want to link the records to other systems eg CRM and ERP
Multi-item record declarations ... previously you had to select each document in sharepoint individually then go through the declaration process - now you can multi-select documents and even whole folders in a document library for bulk declaration as records.
