Some personal writing today. I got my new HD called "Raptor" (from Western Digital) with 16mb cache, 10.000 rpm and 4,5ms seek time!!! It's a really really hot device - especially for HD occupying Visual Studio development. After testing it some hours I can absolutely recommend it to every developer to speed up work significantly. When the HD is idle, it's very silent (and I have a water cooled PC that's very silent alltogether). Just when the Raptor HD is working hard it's a little bit louder than the drive I had before. But I think a working HD is a sound that all developers like ;-)
The other side of the HD change: I recently reinstalled my whole system, so the next update for ComfortASP.NET is delayed a little bit. Beside fixing a splash bitmap bug, it will have improved client script support which is always very important for a better support of 3rd party controls. A new Comparison will also be published then with a newly compared Framework and version updates (ATLAS January CTP was recently released).
