Just chated with Gerd De Bruycker, Events Manager, and Hans Verbeeck, technical content
owner for Tech Ed 2006, about future developer conferences in EMEA. INETA
Europe, with more than 180 user groups and 50.000 developers one of
the biggest european developer associations, will become again, like in past
years, very important part of next TechEd Europe. BOF sessions, exibiting, speaking
and partying. Fun and knowledge. Stay tuned for more info on this in next months and
don't forget - Barca is definitely cool!. In Barcelona, the night life is somewhat
different from the rest of Spain, It's good to know that night bars are open till
2 or 3am and disco until 6am. ;-)
Microsoft EMEA HQ made some smart decisions evolving its technical events this year
â Tech·Ed Europe and Microsoft IT Forum. As someone who is deeply involved with
TechEd Europe, I see different benefits for the attendees: more sessions with better
(400) content and speakers and less confusion for IT Pros in the future. No more trouble
with european holiday season, TechEd US ... Check out Hans
Verbeeck's blog post for more details on this.

content that is relevant for developers.

The slightly re-branded IT Forum is the event for IT Professionals focusing on planning,
deploying and managing the secure connected enterprise.
It is the conference for IT administrators, including system, network, database, messaging,
web, applications, file/storage, security, desktop configuration, etc.
We will also offer some sessions that are more in the software development space and
