The Miami Dolphins defense finally showed up for a game. Dominating the Bills, yielding about 120 yards of total offense, the defense allowed the Dolphins to dominate the clock (to a tune of a +30:00 time of possession advantage).

Yet, the Dolphin's James McKnight singley handedly almost let the Bills back in the game. With the Dolphins up 10-0 in the 4th quarter, McKnight didn't look for a pass coming right to him off of a blitz, and allowed a DB to step in front of him and return it 54 yards for a TD (in a play reminiscent of his boneheaded 'bounce off the facemask' play against the Ravens in the playoffs).

But, the Dolphins never let the Bills even sniff another score, and Ricky Williams took control of the offense and scored the final TD with 1:52 remaining. Let's hope this is a look at things to come for this defense that had been continually abused in the first 2 weeks of the season.
