Just as about as annoying as the stupid "MS Critical Patch" e-mail virus that's going around, is the proliferation of stupid "e-mail error" mails that I'm now getting. These stupid messages try and dupe you into thinking that a message you sent was not delivered to some weird account. Never mind that it's not even close to being formatted like a normal NDR, but some of the messages have that stupid send response bit on. For you Outlook users, I recommend turning off "Always Send Receipt Response", otherwise your e-mail address will be validated just be sending a receipt ACK.
This kind of stuff is the part of the reason that comapnies (like the one in Great Britain) are thinking twice about the value of e-mail. That company in Great Britain (Phones4U), eliminated all e-mail at work because they feel it'll save $1.6M per month in lost time spent on e-mail crap. To the spammers out there - Thanks for helping to flush the value of a great productivity tool right down the crapper. You folks are the leaches of society and I couldn't be happier if all of you were exiled to some remote post in the Artic circle with no connectivity to the outside world. You make me sick!!!
