He recently discovered a "missing link" on the microsoft.com page: The Web
Data Admin. This ASP.NET based administration tool allows to create and modify
SQL server or MSDE databases and execute TSQL queries against them. The installation
routine however seems to be a bit troublesome, not allowing to make any configuration
(i.e. virtual IIS root or installation path) and Mike Gale describes the
following SQL 7 issue on p2p.wrox.com:
