This article from eWeek isn't news per se, but it does include some analysis on the impact to customers under different licensing programs.  Basically, people who bought licenses recently under the Software Assurance program and expected to have access to the next version of Windows under that agreement may not see a Windows release during their licensing period.  It will be interesting to see how Microsoft will handle such a situation.
