I saw a link on Scobles blog to “The Origin of Personas” by Alan Cooper.

It was really interesting to read some of the history behind idea Personas discussed in “The Inmates are Running the Asylum”.

The most lasting concept I learned from Inmates is most of the time, the typical user of any product/project I work on is not me. It is an easy concept to grasp, but sometimes hard to remember.
