One year to the day after the blow of brightness of 1984, the legendary TV commercial, that aired during SuperBowl XVIII, Apple didn't want to be forgotten. SuperBowl is the publicly most perceived broadcast event in the United States. Every year, the advertising agents spend fortunes to be the mark which most spectators remember. And so did Chiat/Day for Apple. For the launch of Macintosh Office (Macintosh, LaserWriter and AppleTalk), Apple covered all the seats of the Stanford stadium, place of SuperBowl XIX (the San Francisco 49ers won 38:16 over the Miami Dolphins), with pillows showing the colorful Apple logo. During the cut of advertisement, Apple presented its (controversial) advertising clip, Lemmings.
