Found in one of Roger Johansson's recent Quicklinks entries, I have read Can We Speed Up Browser Evolution? with great interest.

Author of the article, Mike Davidson, also developer of SiFR and proud inhabitant of Cascadia, writes about the question, if and what the web development community could do to increase the speed of browser adoption.

A try to summarize:
A great, comprehensible must-read, quite controversial in one or another paragraph. Mike Davidson sometimes follows a curious kind of "commercial" type of goals, but in effect he's generally pretty right about what he says. In fact, the resumée of his writing isn't news to people like me.
