37signals may have some new competition on the horizon for their Basecamp product. Nathan Borror just announced a new project he's been working on called Jupiter. I had a look at the demo he has running (username: demo, password: demo), and it's looking pretty good. It's very similar to Basecamp in many ways, although there are a few things I actually like more in Jupiter.
No word yet on whether Nathan is planning to offer the product on an ASP model—as Basecamp is—or if it will be distributed for installation on your own server. No discussion of pricing yet either. I'll be keeping my eye on this one, though.
