Okay, the flash drive is a nice little device and all, but I am not very good at remembering it every morning when I sync to it right before bed. It wouldn't be a problem if it only took a few seconds (like I expected), but the norm seems to be about 8 minutes to copy my cache folder for Feed Demon. That is too long for me and my attention span. The main problem seems to be the writing of the tons of tiny files, so custom software that does compression on the fly might be the only way to go.
It's starting to seem like too much work now. When I get that gmail account maybe I can schedule an email in the middle of the night and after work so I can have that info with me everywhere. Or maybe sync to online storage of some kind. I would like to make it reuseable for someone else by the time I am done, so it has to be useable to someone without their own hosting plan.
Hmmm, if you have a good solution email me. Otherwise I will post again when I get some time to develop something.
