I finally came off the coin and bought my license for FeedDemon. What pushed me over the edge was the fact that I emailed Bradsoft to say that I would buy it if I could control where the cache folder was (I want it on my flash drive.) I got an email back very quickly saying that the current beta version that registered users can dowload allows it.
I had my cache folder from my work PC copied to my drive, but I think ti got trashed when I fired up a new installation at home. On monday we will try again with the data I bring from home.
If you don't understand my goals then allow me to explain to your slow ass. I use FeedDemon at work and at home, but I am too poor to own a nice tablet or laptop, so I need a means of bringing my data with me. I know that I could just email updated OPML or something, but I want to know what I have already seen when looking through the posts. So I need that cache folder in my pocket wherever I go.
I will post a little tutorial on what I had to do when I get it working well. I have determined that the drive may be to slow, so there my have to be some sort of file sync involved.
