Here is a link to a piece of software that reads PDF files in to Flash files to let the display easier.  I would love to implement something like this on the sites I design at work, but it might be hard since all the PDFs we display are created right before the user sees them.  Hmmm... there must be something I can do.  I hate Acrobat reader and it's monumental slowness.
