Big Nerd Ranch has dropped the price on this highly acclaimed book. Aaron Hillegass, a co-author, says, "By lowering the purchase price of Core Mac OS X and Unix Programming, our goal is to make the information as accessible as possible to the broadest range of programmers interested in mastering the material. Without an understanding of the underpinnings of OS X, developers cannot get the best performance and reliability out of their applications."

When this book was initially announced, I was quite interested until I saw the price. With this new pricing, I will definitely reconsider.
