Apple has released a couple of updates for the Java developers out there. First, for those using Panther, Java 1.4.2 is now ready. This update will completely overwrite your current Panther Java 1.4.1 installation and is not removable.

Also, up for Panther users is a JBoss Update that allows JBoss and Tomcat to take advantage of Java 1.4.2. The find out more about this update, check out this technote.
