With the smart device some it is fun to play with, and at time we may get carry away by change to many setting which upset the phone and causing it to stop working correctly. If you would like to start over with the fresh setting or your phone is frozen then you could try to reset it. Do so will get your phone back to the default factory settings.
Before you go ahead and execute the below steps, it is wise that you backup any data that you would like to keep. The hard reset will erase all the phone data such as photo, music, video, downloaded data.
Software Reset - If your phone is not frozen or hang
1. Go to the Home screen.
2. Now select the Menu.
3. Next select Privacy.
4. Now select Factory data reset.
5. Then select Reset Phone.
6. Now put in the password in the password field, and then confirm.
7. Finally select Erase everthing.
Hard Reset with hardware key - use this option if your phone is stuck and not responding
1. Switch off the device, by pulling out the battery, wait for 30 seconds and pop it back in.
2. Now press and hold the Left and Right buttons at the same time. It is beneath the LCD display screen. Then press and release the Power button.
3. A menu now should appear which you can following the on screen instruction.
Following the on screen reset your device should go back to the default factory setting and any downloaded content previously is wipe out.
