Learn how you can fix problems with send and recieve email on the iPad.

Most smart devices now a day allows you to use email. With the iPad it is not different, emailing on the iPad can be quiet easy but sometimes you can run into troubles. If you do have trouble then you may have to try the following and see if it fixes your problem.

Can't receive email on the device:

1. Cannot Get Mail because your account is locked

When you get an error "Cannot Get Mail" your account maybe locked out on another device. The reason you get this error is because you may have log on to your email account using another device, and now your account is still active on that device. The POP3 email only allow you to log in only 1 at a time, do so at 2 place will cause the account to lock it self. It is also know as Mailbox Locked.

To solve this problem simply try to call all the mail application on all the devices you have used. Then wait for around 5 to 10 minutes for the mail server to reset the previous connection and unlock the mail account. To stop this from re-occuring in the future you can close the mail application when you have finished using it, and try to increase the time interval when fetching mail messages on your devices.

If it's still doesn't work after a 5 minutes, then you could try to turn of the device completely to ensure all connections is disconnected from the mail server.
